The RoSkan system comprises of a handheld laser scanner, orthotic/prosthetic rectification software and a milling machine.
> Easy to handle
With it's "Long Range" feature, the O&P Scan offers you an easy to handle digitisation. It allows a scanning distance up to 40 cm between the patient and the digitiser.
> Contactless
Taking the impression this way is painless, clean, contactless and offers the patient unequalled comfort.
> Fast and accurate
The impression of your patient can be taken and imported into Rodin4D CADCAM in less than 5 minutes. The O&P Scan uses a magnetic field to position itself in space, and gets the 3D surface from a laser line and from a camera (accuracy +/-0.5mm on the surface). The real time display on the PC allows you to control all the operations.
> Portable
Thanks to the small size of the laptop and the carrying case supplied, you will be able to digitize your patients anywhere at any time in less than 15 minutes. You will be totally autonomous (47cm x 37cm x 23cm).

From the scanning of the client through to production, Rodin4D is a complete CAD/CAM solution for orthopaedics. Designed by CPOs for CPOs, it meets precisely and effectively the needs of the user in the field.
Once the scans are complete. The finished image can then be imported in to Rodin4D. Within this software any rectifications can be carried out with the easy to master tools. The result of each modification is visible in real time and all the rectifications made can easily be changed or removed at anytime using the controls within the software.
Each applicator has the possibility of creating their own libraries of forms, modifying them according to their needs or exchanging them with colleagues. You have at your disposal a wide panel of solutions for the taking of measurements and the creation of your libraries. Rodin4D does not impose any constraints and can be adapted to your production line.
Once all rectification have been carried out, the resulting model can then be carved out of polyurethane blocks using a CAM module Milling Machine. The final carved models can then be used to produce more accurate orthotic products.
Once all the rectifications have been carried out on the scanned image, the image is then carved on our CNC milling machine from a foam block which is used for the manufacturing process. As well as being the Rodin4D UK Distributor Relief Orthotics is also a central fabrication center.
Relief Orthotics Ltd are the sole U. K. Distributor for Rodin4D.
